Floor Operations
PFTC's floor traders use proprietary software applications to guide their trading decisions as market makers on the various exchanges where PFTC is a member-firm. However, their trading activities are not limited only to their designated exchange, through the use of technology and relationships they are able to execute on multiple exchanges.

Risk Management
Uses the company's proprietary applications to make real-time decisions regarding the pricing of options, the accumulation of inventory and risk management. The goal of Risk Managers is to create a portfolio with the highest expected risk adjusted return.

Technology Operations
Encompasses Networking (local and wide-area) and Systems operations as well as the link between the end-users of PFTC's proprietary software application such as market makers, Risk Managers to that of Software Development Group. They are responsible for maintaining the day-to-day functions of IT infrastructure as well as planning for improvement or expansion while ensuring little if any interruption to business operations.

Responsible for designing and building software applications that allow Risk Managers to analyze and make maximum use of information and techniques generated by the Quantitative Research Group. Quantitative Research
Creates quantitative models describing market phenomena and develops strategies and algorithms with which to take advantage of market inefficiencies. Areas of investigation range from derivative pricing models to quantification of portfolio risk exposures to volatility forecasting. The Quantitative Research group spends much of its time involved in data analysis, historical research, model optimization, and implementation. Working closely with the Software Development group, quantitative components are integrated into the proprietary trading software, used by the Risk Managers.
